Civil War Unit
Main Questions: By the end of the unit, the student should be able to answer the following questions:
1. In what ways was the United States already a diverse country in the mid 1800's?
2. Why are ideas (slavery) and economics important? Use the Civil War as an example.
3. What are some of the realities of warfare? Describe why war should be looked at as a problem to be solved rather than something to be glorified.
