Day 1: Tuesday, June 12, Overnight Flight To London. Minneapolis - Cleveland - London.
Overnight flight from the United States. Meet at High School at 9:30 a.m. or meet the group at the Minneapolis airport no later than 12:00 noon. Our first flight is Continental Airlines #4004 to Cleveland.
Day 2: Wednesday, June 13, Arrival London
Welcome to London, the cosmopolitan capital city of the United Kingdom. A tour guide will meet us at the airport and take us to our hotel. Settle into your hotel, and then hop on the "Tube" to explore this vast metropolis.
Day 3: Thursday, June 14, Stonehenge-Salisbury-Bath-London
Today step back to prehistoric times at the Neolithic edifice of Stonehenge. Afterwards visit the majestic cathedral town of Salisbury before continuing on to the delightful Georgian town of Bath. Originally the site of the Roman town of Acquae Sulis, you will see the remains of the public baths and discover how engineering skills allowed them to make use of the hot springs nearby. Return to London in time for dinner.
Day 4: Friday, June 15, Arrival in Stockholm -- Link To Web Page With Details About Swedish Trip
Fly to Stockholm, see times below. Arrival at Arlanda at 5 pm. Take bus to Fredrika Bremer High School where our Swedish hosts will meet us. Spend evening with host families.
Day 5: Saturday, June 16, Stockholm
1. We will meet at Slottsbacken (behind the Royal Castle) a 10 am for a tour of the Old town includning Storkyrkan (the Big Cathedral) and a exterior look at the Royal Castle. The tour will take around 2 hours.
2. We then take the ferry from Skeppsbron to royal island Djurgarden where we have lunch at Rosendals garden café, bring picnic or buy excellent sandwiches and cakes at the café.
3. During the afternoon you will have time for individual sightseeing.
Day 6: Sunday, June 17, Stockholm
1. We meet at Arsta brygga at 8 am where we take a boat to Uto in the archipelago. We arrive at Uto at 10 am and returns at 12. 43 pm.
2. During day: Time for individual activities.
3. Evening: Midsummer´s party at Dalaro.
Day 7: Monday, June 18, Stockholm
1. We meet at 9.00 am at Stadhuskajen where we take the ferry to Drottningholm castle, the Chinese pavallion and the Drottningholm castle theatre. Arrive at 10.30 pm. Bus and subway back to Stockholm in the afternoon.
2. During day: Time for individual sightseeing.
3. Evening: We meet at Sodermalms torg by Slussen at 6 pm from where we walk to the old quarters at Fjallgatan. Dinner at Herman´s Vegetarian restaurant, with a great view over Stockholm.
Day 8: Tuesday, June 19, Stockholm-Copenhagen
The hosts bring their guest to pendeltaget. The train to Copenhagen leaves at 8.18 am so you must take the 6.57 am train. That gives you 1 hour at the Central station before the train departs. Depart Stockholm at 8:18 AM, arrive in Copenhagen at 13:28 (1:28 p.m.). Transfer to your homestay, where you will enjoy an evening with your Danish family. Day 9: Wednesday, June 20, Copenhagen

Day 10: Thursday, June 21, Copenhagen
Assembly at GVS 9:00 am: Trip to Elsinore to see Hamlet's castle (Kronborg or Castle Elsinore). Stroll through the historic town of Elsinore. Return to Copenhagen, where the students will have some time of their own before returning to their respective host families.
Day 11: Friday, June 22, Copenhagen
Assembly at GVS 9:00 am: Visit to Statens Museum for Kunst (National Museum of Art). Afterwards we go across the street to see the Crown Jewels at Castle Rosenborg. In the afternoon the students will have some time of their own. We assembly outside the main entrance to Tivoli Gardens at 7:00 pm. We will spend the evening in the historic amusement park of Tivoli Gardens. Students return to their respective host families.
Day 12: Saturday, June 23, Copenhagen- Overnight Train
Time to say au revoir to host families + maybe some time to shop before boarding the train for Deutschland (Germany). Enjoy your final afternoon in Copenhagen before boarding an overnight train bound for Frankfurt, Germany. The train departs Copenhagen at 6:48 PM and arrives in Frankfurt at 6:18 AM.
Day 13: Sunday, June 24, Frankfurt- Lohr am Main, Germany
This morning, arrive in the cosmopolitan German city of Frankfurt. Take a city sightseeing tour before continuing on to the small town of Lohr, where you will be enjoying your final days with a German homestay family.

1. Friday: walk in old town, a short visit to the Nobel museum (situated in the Old town), picnic on Djurgarden (a big park) and then the afternoon off (time to visit the Wasa museum, Skansen ). In the evening there is a concert with Tityo, a Swedish soul singer, at the amusement park Grona Lund.
2. Saturday: The whole day is spend in the archipelago. Some kind of midsummer night dinner party at Dalar & ouml; (an exclusive suburb by the water).
3. Sunday: Drottningholms castle. We will take the boat at 10 am (takes 1 hour) and go back by bus at around 2pm (30 min). The afternoon
off. Dinner at a restaurant in the evening with great view over Stockholm.
